1. Would someone provide a brief (or not so brief) history of the NEW YORK
GRAMOPHONE SOCIETY ??

I've googled, and found various bits of information:

 started mid-1950's

board of governors: including John Secrist, Bert Annenberg, John
Christie, Robert Nathan, and Ely Winer

headed by Albert Wolf and Ely C. Winer

ended about 1969 with death of Albert Wolf ??

2. Recordings

Issued by NYGS - LP L1 Alexander Kipnis Testamonial 1958

The track-list/title of this lp appears to be the same as CLUB 99-55

WERE THERE ANY OTHERS ISSUED BY NYGS ???

"Produced for the New York Gramophone Society"

COLLECTORS GUILD 611 Margaret Matzenauer-personal choice

COLLECTORS GUILD 668 Maria Kurenko with Orchestra

(is this from airchecks, 78's or newly recorded ?????)

      ANY OTHERS ???

What was the relationship between NYGS and CLUB 99 and Collectors Guild
???

Thanks!

Best wishes, Thomas.
