[78-L] METRO Label - NY 78rpm ; label, MGM budget LP subsidiary ???

  There exists a 78rpm producer METRO RECORDS in NYC which

issued an album SING PALESTINE with MOSHE NATHANSON (author of Hava Nagila)
and Abraham Ellstein on piano.  Issued on 10" LP circa 1955.

  Anyone have any information about any other releases on this label???.

  Sometime in the 50's MGM was using the METRO label for budget LP releases.
Anyone know if MGM purchased the 78 label, or if the 78 company died, or how
this probable conflict was resolved????..
