So, now I have to decide if I should get the ol' 78 or try to find the recording on a CD or an .mp3. I know the perils of collecting, for me some sad stories of collecting comic books.Thank you all for some good memories.

all for promotion of Philips products.
I have been trying to get the full George (actually Georg, he was from
Hungary) Pal story and in particular I like to know where and how the sound
(Ambrose' band) was recorded. Maybe Philips-Miller system? There is film
with Jack Hylton and another with the (dutch) Ranblers too.
Pal went to the US and became famous for his special film effects.
