[78-L] reliable CD-R blanks?

I used Sony for a few years and then they switched manufacturers and I began
turning out beer coaster after beer coaster. I took them up on their warranty
and took a batch of them back to their location in north-east Toronto, where I
had to park behind barricades and cross a field of mud. They cracked open a
spindle and gave me a number of blanks equal to the ones I was returning. Not
even a bag to put them in. To hell with Sony. (I got my revenge when I got that
movie pulled, but that's another story.) I then used Fuji 40x for a couple of
years, and those are no longer available. I then found the TDKs in a store on
Spadina and bought there for a couple of years, and followed them to their new
location on Gerrard at Broadview, but they can no longer get them...so now I
order from these guys in Laval, Quebec:

blankdvdmedia.com

They got 'em. Not as cheap as the store on Spadina, and you pay for shipping,
but they got 'em and they show up the next day.

I also have a cakebox of Philips Audio CD-Rs which I bought in an emergency
(took a chance since they don't show the speed) and they're fine in real time.
Philips white label are for duping only.
