I would love to see some of the newspaper and magazine articles and  
ads about that august event

At ARSC a number of years ago somebody said it was such a successful  
promotion that it made the Orthophonic Victrola "the Tickle Me Elmo of  
1925"

(I'll bet even that reference is lost on a lot of folks now)
