[78-L] Japanese Blue Columbia

Just spotted a Japanese blue label, blue wax Columbia on Ebay.

The master is from (Japanese) Nipponophone, and the label was printed in 
Japan, as per what's on the labels. NOW, was the record pressed in the 
US, or in Japan? My educated guess says probably pressed in Los Angeles 
or possibly Oakland. But it's also possible that Japan got the formula 
for the blue shellac (?) from Columbia and was licensed to press them there.
Makes more sense than all the back and forth it would take to do the 
pressing and assembly in California.
But one never knows, do one?
