There was a singer named Joan O'Brien, sometimes known as Joanie O'Brien, 
mostly active on the west coast although she was originally from Cambridge, 
Massachusetts.  She would have been only 14 in 1950.

Actually, according to Radio Annual, the call letter change occurred in
1946.  That said, I do not find Jeanne's name anywhere in any of my many
radio publications, leading me to wonder if her name was misspelled on
the recording.
