A couple of 78's by Soldier Boy Houston, recorded in Dallas in 1950, were
issued on Atlantic 916, 971. In 1972 the remaining titles from that
session

were released on LP "Texas Guitar from Dallas to L.A." Atlantic SD 7226, 2
cuts were in the ATLANTIC BLUES cd box set.

The 8 tracks were released on JSP 7790 4-CD 2007 Lightning Hopkins:
Lightning Special Volume 2 of the Collected Works

Nine tracks by Houston, recorded in Hollywood in 1953, have been released by
JSP 4219 in the 2-CD collection "HOLLYWOOD BLUES

.The notes to the JSP set credit RHYTHM & BLUES 215 (Christmas 2006) article
"And I'm A Private First Class" by Chris Smith and Guido Van Rijn.

Would someone supply a scan or photocopy, or know where a copy of that
article may be obtained ???

  Thanks!

Best wishes, Thomas.
