Yes this is too bad -- the feeling of  being totally not in control is
maybe the worst thing for me -- if you don't like the new look or controls,
or things just stop working for you, then you're stuck and they don't
care.  Luckily I have not had any troubles with  78-L or the ARSCLIST with
my gmail account so far.  And to touch on another discussion, we keep both
monthly-fee email accounts and free ones for various types of email and
discussion groups.
