[78-L] Jack Teagarden and Shorty Rogers

[Julian Vein]

Just been watching a 1953 film called "The Glass Wall" with Gloria 
Grahame. In the opening credits it says featuring the bands of Jack 
Teagarden and Shorty Rogers. They are indeed seen and playing on screen, 
but they are together. Seen with them are Jimmy Giuffre, Howard Rumsey, 
Shelly Manne. Not sure about the pianist. In a separate scene I spotted 
Buddy Collette. The music is nothing to get excited about though.

The odd thing is that the film was made on location in New York, but 
these indoor scenes were obviously done on the West Coast.
