[78-L] Facebook for 78'ers

The other thing about Facebook is that its initial population has migrated elsewhere. The "kids" who are most interested in sharing "selfies," pictures of their cats, sunsets, and their latest meal etc. have moved on to Twitter, Instagram, and other sites. Facebook is now being used more by adults, professionals, and people actually looking to share information. All the useless gossip is still there, but you have the ability to be selective - "unfriending" people who contribute useless information and even hiding or leaving pages that you find distasteful, annoying, or otherwise inappropriate. I've made some wonderful 78 rpm trades using FB and also sold a lot of copies of my books by posting links. Give Facebook a shot - it's free, you can leave anytime, and you might find yourself "liking" it.
