The Facebook email notifications can be EASILY shut off. I left on only
those which mention or page me and I get only three or four a week.
Nothing else comes thru email and you can shut those off too. New
postings are noted on the top of your home page.
Let me tell you that there is MUCH more going on over in facebook than
78-l, ARSC-List, and several other lists combined. Many of us 78ellers
are over there. I have several thousand pictures posted, and others
post several dozen RARE label photos daily. Some with audio. All the
latest info on the Vitaphone Project, Vince Giordano's concerts, radio
conventions, and loads of other things is over there.

Thanks for the warning. I was thinking to use an expendable email
address, but now, with this warning, I would certainly do so!
