'Jazz is where you find it' was a programme produced by the The Allied Expeditionary Forces Programme (AEFP, a joint US/ UK undertaking, involving both the BBC and AFN).
Here's a March 1945 broadcast with British & US jazz musicians involved. If you recognize the titles this is the broadcast you have on your disc.
