[78-L] USPS Strikes Again!?

I went to my local post office today with seven boxes of 78s to mail. Was told by the postal worker that she heard the post office will be begin opening media mail packages to see if it is really is media. If this is true I see a lot of unhappy people receiving broken 78s. I pride myself on my careful packing, but if they start doing this, it will all be for naught.
  Has anyone else in the group heard anything on this?  Should I start thinking about using first class? Having nightmares about broken records in Florida - Jimmyb
