Even this is not accurate. I found that using a blank disc, the correct 
amount of anti-skate needed to offset lateral arm motion was different 
depending on how far in/out the arm was. As it traveled the parameters 
changed. This may have been related to surface speed or not, I don't 
know. Since no groove is involved on a blank, as has been pointed out, 
it is probably not a factor.
