[78-L] Shostakovich question

Speaking of which, I'm about to get on my I Hate Lenny bernstein soapbox again. 
I knew the guy was a thief but I didn't know until now that Shostakovich 
originally composed "New York, New York" in 1940. Check out the third movement 
of the Quintet Op. 57.
