[78-L] 45 RPM sets

I too have the green-box Victor SPD-18 set Jim mentions below. Grey labels (could be mistaken for silver in various eBay photos), dog logo.
Note that it's labeled "Limited Edition Volume One," so after release of the 2nd Limited; and yes, the tracks are butchered (when J E Knox
and I discussed this set years ago, the word "lawnmowered" figured prominently). Like others, this was the way I knew those tracks until I got
a copy of the LP set.

The uncut EP version was in a white padded album, Victor EPNT 6700.

I'm guessing that RCA had several uses for their various "SPD-xx" releases, this one likely as cheap/giveaways as incentives to buy a record player.

Oddly, though I know the Second Limited was issued in a gold padded EP album (Vi EPOT 6701), my copy of that set is in a gold cardboard box
very much like the SPD-18. And like later pressings of the 2nd Limited LPs, there's no letter/number limitation stamp in the booklet.

All best - David Jessup

I didn't know how much till I got the LP set years later. Weirdest of all were the pink labels with no 'Nipper logo' just RCA Victor in the arc format. I read somewhere a long time ago that the reason for no logo was they were pressed in the UK. Set # is SPD-18. Came with booklet but no individual stamped # like the padded LP set. Anyone know any info on these?
