[78-L] 3-D Printing

I think I saw something about 3D printed records. They were noisy because
of the "dot" size. The printers do not lay down a small enough dot so the
surface is microscopically bumpy, showing up as surface noise on playback.

Hello,

Not sure whether this has been covered previously in the group, however a
local news report had a report about 3-D printers.

Has there been any work that enables the printing of 78rpm records in this
manner?

Regards,

Gary
