Sammy Jones mentioned buying "a 5.0 mil Stanton stylus from Nauck's.  It was $165."
Yep, that's what I paid for a 2.5mil TE for a Stanton 500 when ordering from Kurt last year.  I've been enormously impressed with it on a wide variety of discs.  Don't let anybody tell you a 2.5 is only useful for 16" transcriptions!  (Not that this is earth-shattering news to very many people, but I wanted to chime in...)
