[78-L] Edward VIII Abdication Records

Unfortunately I don't have the discs, only tape, and Temple University,
where the collection had been entrusted to, discarded the collection.
The first discs in the WCAU Philadelphia archive were the live recording
of the broadcast from CBS, and then the re-playing of that disc later in
the evening on WCAU. The master starts with the final two bongs of Big
Ben. The re-playing has a local announcer introducing the recording AND
THEN THEY WOW BIG BEN!!!!!! The first bong becomes bbbboooooommmmmmmmm
as it wows up to speed from a slow start!! I do have the tapes I made
of the entire collection, but I should have stolen the discs -- then
they would still exist. Who knew the university didn't give a damn
about history. (It is why I have never given the bastards a dime, along
with their tearing down our studio building, Thomas Hall, a lovely stone
church built around 1870. Crumbuckets.)

I have a couple of the ones you've mentioned below, and I can add one
other - white label, blue shellac 10 inch pressing with a plain white
label and black print. I assume this is a West Coast pressing, but
there's no indication whatsoever as to who pressed this one.
