Another story of someone claiming a copyright he hasn't the slightest claim 
on..I've seen I'M LEANING ON THE LORD by the Famous Blue Jay Singers of 
Birmingham on Champion, Decca and Varsity (it was probably on a late Paramount 
or Broadway as well), but somehow when it's reissued on Joe Davis 7000, and 
retitled I AM LEANING ON THE LORD, it acquires a credit, "arranged by Joe 
Davis" and an ASCAP designation. Same original recording. (I gotta read his 
book one of these years.)
