[78-L] Sax player in Phil Harris orchestra on J. Benny radio program

I got a call from an old friend, trombonist Pete Pepke, who has been
enjoying a run of 1939-41-ish Jack Benny radio programs on CD. He says there
is a sax player in the Harris band on the show who comes across in the style
of Bennie Krueger or Rudy Wiedoeft --- and he asked me if I knew, or could
find out who it was. (Pete's not online). I have no clue --- the closest I
came was learning that Buzz Adlam was in that band. 

 

Any ideas  ? ??
