Thanks for the link, David! Now -- NOW! -- the 'B' side makes sense...could never figure out what the meaning of Standley stopping suddenly after each chorus was. Now that we see him belting it out and belting his book into shreds, the mystery is revealed. "Let's sing what's left of the last verse..."

We ripped off the subject of that song for a silly soaperetta we did as part of "The Captain Reject Show" a few years ago:

"It's time once again for the continuing saga, 'Suds And Sorrows', the transcribed tale of the life and times of Libby Laundromat...brought to you by...Grandma's Lye Soap."
