This date makes sense: in 1956-1957, there were several newspaper
stories about performances of new music by the Concert Choir of Teachers
College, Columbia University -- they evidently were well-known locally,
gave radio concerts, and performed at various venues. One article I
found about them said their director was Harry Robert Wilson. (Found
lots about him-- he was a Professor of Music Education, a composer, and
a conductor, in addition to directing the activities of the Columbia
Teachers College choir.)
