[78-L] Willard Robison - Carson Robison - Paul Robeson

I'm looking for correct pronunciation of Willard's family name.

I know from a Champion where he introduces himself that Carson pronounced his as ROB-i-son, rob rhyming with bob and the "i" glossed quickly as a "short 'i'" and definitely not any "uh" sound.

Paul, has been named in my hearing since a kid and his is two-syllables only, the first rhyming with globe.

So far, so good.

But what is correct for Williard Robison?  Rob like bob or Rob like globe?  I've heard it both ways.
