[78-L] Le Bing: Bing Crosby's first LP (or is it?) gets a reissue

The other thing that the blurb says that hasn't been brought up here is
the claim that this is one of the first "Concept album". what makes
this a concept album? That all the songs are in French. A lot of
non-French performers had already put out albums of french songs, and
albums of other related songs. Even Bing's first album "Cowboy Songs"
from 1939 would fit this loose definition. And his two Hawaiian albums.
Teddy Philips "Concert In The Sky" is far more of a concept album.

I wonder if the unreleased material is from his radio programs?
Otherwise you'd
think this would have been expanded to twelve-inch by 1958. I've never
heard of
this one before.
