I have seen those several times and own a few. I am in Central Indiana, where RCA had factories for many years. I had a co-worker years ago whose first job was as a record tester for RCA from 1939-1947.

Amazing! What does the sticker look like, and is it the type that could
be removed by soaking or careful peeling? Theonly other thing similar
was then round yellow sticker with red lettering "Retired Record 39c" on
some gold band Columbias, but I think those were cut-outs. Edison
sometimes embossed defectives with 'second' I think, and employees might
have some.

No question, just an interesting find I've never seen before to comment
on. Two Bluebird records each with a sticker on both sides that says
"USED RECORD Sold by RCA Mfg. Co. Inc. To Its Employees NOT TO BE
RESOLD"

 Cheers,
 Glenn
