Playing an RCA Home Recording disc with an Eddie Cantor show from December
1935 tonight. The largest stylus I have is a 3.25 mil Stanton TE. The
sound is actually not too bad with some EQ tweaking. The disc is 12", has
and orange and black RCA Victor star label, and has H-500-3 stamped in the
run-out area.

Here's a photo:

I'm assuming I need to get a 4 or 5 mil stylus to play this correctly.
Anyone care to share recommendations on success or failure in transferring
these things with variouis stylus sizes? I need some recommendations before
I drop 165 bucks for a specialty stylus.

Thanks,
Sammy Jones
