[78-L] LP set of 1908 Carmen... in German.

Did you find 78's or an lp issue?  Marston has issued a 1908 Carmen with Emmi
Destinn, in German, 56 sides.  An lp dubbing of this?

Found this at the thrift store the other day, 
Bizet's Carmen, from a 1908 recording... at least that is what it says on the 
box. It's from "Discophilia Gmbh, 8 Munchen" (minus the umlaut). Threw it on the 
table, and sho'nuff, it's Carmen... in German. Very ring-y at about 2-300 Hz but 
otherwise the transfer is not too bad, considering this is from, what, the mid 
70s? Anyone have info on source recordings? I have a short cast list from the 
front of the box...

Working on re-mastering & transferring 
now.
