[78-L] Last alive to record an acoustical DD?

Gee,
Among the living he must be the earliest to have recorded at all. That 
we know of.
As far as I remember Artie Shaw held the record for some time(recording 
debut 1928), until he died in 2004.
And no other living artist, with merits from the 1920's, has been 
mentioned after that on this list. Again- as far as I remember.
