Eddie reduced many of his responses to sexual references ("Bix's playing 
is like a girl saying 'yes'"). Perhaps his name should've have been 
Eddie Condom? A former Chief Constable in London called Sir Paul Condon 
has his name pronounced by broadcasters with the emphasis on the second 
syllable and sounding like that! Eddie's name was usually pronounced 
like "CONden".
