I have the Mercury 78 of 11050. It was included in the 10" 78 rpm album of Watters sides (C-103). Twelve sides in all were cut on January 15, 1950 at Hambone Kelly's in El Cerrito, California, where Watters had his base at the time. Norman Granz had an arrangement with Mercury to issue his own recordings for the label. Soon after the records were made, Granz started Clef and took over recordings Watters made for Down Home in 1949 and 1950. All twelve of the sides were issued on both Mercury and Clef, using the same catalog numbers. Here are the pairings:

11025 Waiting for the Robert E. Lee / Doin' the Hambone
11026 Weary Blues / Ace in the Hole
11050 Skid-Dat-De-Dat / Emperor Norton's Hunch
11051 Sage Hen Strut / When the Saints Go Marching In
11052 Ace in the Hole / Antigua Blues
11057 St. Louis Blues / Broken Promises

11050, 11051, & 11502 were issued in the Mercury album C-103. The album has a David Stone Martin cover. Here is the 10-inch LP version.

In June or July 1950, eight more sides were issued by Mercury/Clef:

11065 Royal Garden Blues / Shake That Thing
11077 Tin Roof Blues / Blues My Naughtie Sweetie Gives to Me
11081 Doctor Jazz / Beale Street Blues
11090 Irish Black Bottom / Sweet Georgia Brown

The above were all co-issued on 78 as well as 45 rpm.
