I was 6 years old in 1941.  Probably heard it on the
radio or a juke box.  That song reminds me of 
A-tisket, a-tasket, When the lights go on again, 
-- all those war songs.  You can't slide down my
rain barrel (or something like that), Pistol packin' mama,
and a bunch of others.  And some nonsense songs!
