[78-L] Continental 78rpm - classical

Enlighten me on Continental.I knew of an American label by that name from the '40s(Dizzy Gillespie recorded for it).The only Continental 78 I owned was in a large batch of 78s I had purchased back in the early '90s from the estate of a fellow record/antique radio collector I had known for a number of years.I paid $100 for the whole lot which was a loose pile.I had hauled them back to my apartment behind the front seat of my car.

I'm pretty sure the Kovacs was A101 and the Bartok A102. Neither was "recorded
in Europe" no matter what Gabor put on the labels (ditto the Balogh, since he
was also recording for Moe Asch in the mid 40s). I didn't know about the single
releases from those albums. Sorry I can't provide more info but all this stuff
is packed away at the moment, and the same for my WERM.
