[78-L] Continental 78rpm - classical

I had a few Halos,Plymouths and even a couple of Remingtons over the years.I had no idea Oberstein was behind Halo. The first Remingtons I had were back around 1965.My mother found them at a rummage sale back around March of that year.I felt they were horribly recorded for European recordings. The Remingtons were the first classical 33s I owned next to some Musical Heritage Society 10" LPs plus the Victor 12" acoustics I had owned previously.Such was my introduction to classical music.I was 14 in 1965.In fact,I think I  still may have some Don Gabor produced Remingtons and Plymouths here as of this post.

Seems to have been fairly legit business dealings. Gabor leased some of Obie's stuff in the mid-1940's. 3 Suns appeared on Gabor's Broadway label in '48. Early Plymouth albums were all leased from somewhere, I haven't waded into that swampland, and Gabor did some pressing for Oberstein. Just a couple of ol' cross-pressers...
