[78-L] Glenn Miller - why so late on the label?

Evidently I was not clear enough on the question.
Why did it take him until 1935 to get credited such as "Glenn Miller and His ..." ...orchestra, boys, men etc?

He's on the label of the Dorsey Brothers ANNIE'S COUSIN FANNY as composer, and 
I think that's 1933.
