I should add that a 1.0 mil stylus is not what's necessarily required for early LP's, but it's what they were designed for.   It should work best with your micro grade / groove DGG 78.

Just got a small group of European records, including a 12" DEUTSCHE GRAMMOPHON that has a banner
on the label saying VARIABLE MICROGRADE 78.  Not sure what that means.  Should I play it on my
regular 78 turntable?

Thanks!  CDB
