[78-L] Duke Ellington on film, 1925?

Yes, when I clicked on the widescreen blow-up, the images distorted left to right. I see a piano in the picture and the image of a banjo player sitting in front of it, but how anyone can positively confirm Ellington's presence, except by inference, is beyond me. Even if Ellington were the only band to play at that club at the time, surely there could have been a substitute playing that day for whatever reason. I'd like to know who the "Ellington experts" were who identified him and maybe they can come forward and enlighten me. I want to believe, but...
