[78-L] Man, they were great

I had a sampler LP with "Solo for Joe" on it when I was five. By my teens,
I'd heard several of their albums thanks to the collection at the Lincoln
Center Library. By the sixties, they could be had for decent prices, when
you could find them.

When Don Sebesky wrote an arranging book and mentioned how influential
their recordings were, overnight Colony Records re-priced albums that were
$10 and $15 to $60 and $75!
