FINALLY, a sensible copyright decision!  I've always thought that it's only the first sale a
holder makes or pays royalty or earns a profit, over which the holder has any expectation
of royalty or profit.  The new owner of a copy can share with friends, sell to whomever he pleases,throw them in the dumpster --  basically do what he likes, so long as it's not make pirate copies and sell them for profit.... 

Yay Supreme Court -- got one right for a change!

The Supreme Court decided 6-3 to ALLOW the sale of imported goods that
are copyrighted in the U.S.  The First Sale Doctrine was upheld even in
the case of foreign made copyrighted goods. This concerned a kid who was
selling textbooks in the U.S. that he had his parents send them from his
home in the Philippians where they were priced much lower.
