[78-L] PIP Records (LP) NOT Pickwick- info wanted

This is what I know on the subject:
  While listing BEATRICE KAY recordings, I find an album issued by "PIP RECORDS", a division
of the BROOKLEDGE CORP., 1350 North Highland Ave., Hollywood, Calif.
  Based on information in BILLBOARD, it appears PIP was founded circa 1960.  There are adverts
for the company (130 Highland Avenue, Hollywood) in Billboard Sept 26 through Dec 12 1960.
They advertise PLP 1900 SMASH FLOPS, and PLP 1901 SING A SONG OF SICKNESS.
  In NOV 5, 1966 Billboard lists PIP 1906 SHERMAN & LARSEN'S Smash Flops and
PIP 1907 SPENCER QUINN My Pick is Quick.
  The next mention which I believe is related to these recordings is May 8, 1971, listing the
ELECTRIC LEMON label.  PLP 1906 New Society Band Shove It in Your Ear!.
  Billboard Mar 24, 1973 has short article about  Los Angeles based Electric Lemon Records "the year old label"....  President
Milt Larsen.  Vice President Verne Langdon.  Distributed by Rare Records, Glendale.  The New Society Band album is noted, as well
as "The Phantom of the Organ".
Larson and Langdon produced "An Evening with Boris Karloff & His Friends" for Decca in 1968.
  On VERNE LANGDON's website, Electric Lemon Record Co. is listed as "a Brookledge Music Investment", which connects back to the
Beatrice Kay album issued by PIP.  Verne is a nephew
of Red Nichols.  Vernon Loring Langdon (1941-2011).
  Electric Lemon issued a Beatrice Kay album PLP 1910, track list nearly the same as the PIP
album, and listing the same musicians, studio etc.  Address 7001 Franklin Ave., Hollywood.
  Can anyone fill in details about PIP records, and any catalog numbers for PIP and/or
ELECTRIC LEMON ?  Am I correct that these are the same company - or successor.  Anyone know
how and/or why the change ??
  NOTE: This is ** NOT ** the PIP records which was a subsidiary of PICKWICK INTERNATIONAL.  That label was started as a full
price subsidiary of Pickwick early 1968 with release of
"CAB CALLOWAY '68."
