[78-L] Chick Bullock?

I eagerly purchased a Conqueror 78 (7829) at the CAMPS show in Charlotte this weekend.  Just played it, and Bullock has a sweet, high tenor voice (1931).  How did he get his voice down in two years???? Checking the Plaza discography, I find that it is in fact Ben Alley.  Book adds "Some copies of Conqueror 7829 were incorrectly labeled Chick Bullock.
