A quick peek at the Amazon link sees something like the Che gelida manina which is an early Victor.

Like has been mentioned, EMI is having financial problems so it'd be surprising that they would do all new transfers for boxes such as these that will sell to a niche market.

The set is at AMAZON UK for a bit more than 9 pounds (lots less than the $35 in the US; link below).  Somewhere (IIRC) I saw the
comment that these are 2012 remasters.
The selections look like later recordings.  IMO, the ODEON recordings and the EARLY
Victors are McCormack's most beautiful performances,.  Sometime in the 20's he had an illness which
changed the voice quality and range.  The artistry remained throughout his career.
There was an Avoca LP of radio performances which was charming though vocally limited.
I think all or most of the broadcasts eventually made it to CD.
Anyone out there part of this new release??
Best wishes, Thomas.

I don't know about that..a few years ago I was contacted by an EMI engineer
about finding better quality pressings (US, Canadian, possibly Australian) for
another project they'd previously done and wanted to improve. At the time I was
packing everything and moving so I couldn't be part of it, but at least it
indicated that they were aware that things could be done better. But maybe that
was when EMI still had money to spend.

any really good EMI McCormack CD's.   So, I'll  hold off on this one.
