Indeed, Peter, you're right! My apologies to Tony Russell; I did not look closely enough.
But in the first source I examined these were the same.

You do run into that occasionally, but usually they are corrected in some way from the 
source. Just last week I ran into a Brunswick matrix given as "C5563 1/2."
