Hi Warren,
This link explains how and when to file an A-Z claim on Amazon:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=help_search_1-3?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200783750&qid=1359582538&sr=1-3
And this one explains why CDR's are generally unacceptable on their site:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/help/customer/display.html/ref=help_search_1-4?ie=UTF8&nodeId=200143590&qid=1359582538&sr=1-4
Under the condition guidelines for music (CDs) this is the definition for Unacceptable:
Unacceptable: Music that is in any way unplayable or recorded over is not acceptable, nor are recordings not manufactured by the copyright holder, including recopied media in any form. Additionally, promotional media is prohibited. CD's with surface scratches may be listed as Good or Acceptable, subject to the above guidelines, as long as the quality of the playback is not affected.
This is obviously falls under "...recordings not manufactured by the copyright holder, including recopied media in any form."
Under no circumstances can your CD be described on Amazon as Like New.
I hope this is helpful to you.
Best regards,
Roger Wade

That made me wonder, but I thought perhaps they'd uncovered some left over dealer stock somewhere. The price was in the mid-twenties, just about what they've sold for on B-Aye (most of these CC issues sell above their initial list, with some having absurd asking prices). I was tired of waiting for a copy at auction that would be winnable at a reasonable amount, so despite the dear price I ordered it. When it came it was shrink wrapped (loosely), but the cover looked suspiciously pixilated, and upon opening I saw that it was clearly a bootleg, with a scanned tray card, and the cd was obviously a burned copy. The certain give away was that the booklet that accompanied CC releases was missing; they'd just copied the front cover for the cd front.

Then the next day, same thing, except the price then was a dollar and a half less than mine! So they've clearly been dealing with "other agents" of some sort.
