According to the EDVR, a harpist named Melville Clark did record for Victor on 7 April 1910 (matrix B-8815). The EDVR entry includes the following note from the Victor ledgers: "A series of tests made this date for reference; see diary."http://victor.library.ucsb.edu/index.php/matrix/detail/200008914/B-8815-Wearing_of_the_green
Clark did not record for Victor again until June 1927.

Dave,

Just an observation.  Looks like the writing on the label was done
with an old style pen, since the width of the lines varies as the
letters are formed.  But, if you invert the label image you can see,
impressed into it, more writing that appears to have been done with a
sharp instrument.  It seems to say ---

4-7-10

Mr. Clark
#1 - in cag __  _ horn 4" from horn
#2 horn entered in hole
4" from soundboard
