[78-L] 1927 Transcription Recorder

Could be a model number?? I have on eBzazz a pressing of a Churchill speech, 
given to customers of a Toronto record store, which says it was recorded on 
"RCA Victrola Model QU-8" and I can't find any reference to a machine by that name.
