Due to the 1948 recording ban, Victor released unissued earlier work.
I checked some adjacent releases in the Vic 20-3200s range (from label images)
and found:
20-3260 Cats & Fiddle, Bluebird Jan 1941 (RE-ISSUED by Request label)
20-3261 Crudup, Sep 1946 & Oct 47 (more Oct 47 had been on 20-2989/3140)
20-3278 Jacquet, Dec 1947 (others had been on 20-2702/2892/3060)
20-3288 Perry Como: N'Yot N'Yow / Roses of Picardy - (rec.date?)
20-3291 ELLINGTON 1945
20-3297 Pat Flowers 1947 (his last Victor release)
20-3309 Tampa Red, Sep 1946 & Oct 1947 (more from late 47 on 20-3008/3160)
20-3315 R. Sykes, Feb 1946 & Nov 1947 (others from Nov 47 on 20-3014).
For the complete series, though lacking many dates, see Ty's RCA Vic lists.

WPT is a 45-rpm set, and it was
already in the "collectors item" category even though it wasn't a reissue.
Interesting. The 3 tracks I mentioned are on a 1958 EP in the Gold Standard
series. I probably have these on the French RCA Black and White lp but I'd
never noticed them before. I wonder why they weren't issued as 78s in the first
place?
