Another possible source: Over on the ARSC-List Kristjan Saag" led us to
a new British CD of Bryan Ferry's music (was a member of Roxy Music)
played in 1920s style by an orchestra made up of British jazz musicians,
many of whom have played with The Pasadena Roof Orchestra.
       : http://www.bbc.co.uk/music/reviews/wbhf I don't recognize any
of the melodies on the sound samples, but the playing is
authentic-sounding.

Could be something from the BOARDWALK EMPIRE soundtrack CD - I've been
hearing it on the sound system at various clubs and restaurants in NYC
and
have been fooled into thinking it was actual 20s music!
