[78-L] QB prefix

Does QB (and QC for 12-inch) as a prefix indicate a disc pressed by Victor, but 
from a master disc recorded somewhere else, with Victor adding only a closed 
groove? I've seen this on a few private issues, like the Exiled Writers 
Committee "Behind the Barbed Wire" album, the Almanacs' "Songs for John Doe" 
and a few others.

That Barbed Wire set is a real mess. Chipped cutting stylus, I think, with the 
same rumble and groove noise you get on paper-based home recordings.
